Growing tips: sow in August and again in March, if winters are very cold for you overwinter Autumn sown plants in a cold frame and plant out in the Spring.
Harvesting/Arranging tips: pick when the centres of the pin-cushion flowers are still tight. I use Scabiosa as an accent to support or compliment the focal flowers which could be roses or dahlias. They also work well in meadow style designs with a few grasses and an umbel or two.
